Former Ukrainian Defense Ministry official Serhii Sterneko has now said that embattled Ukrainian Armed Forces commander Olesksandr Syrskyi has been dismissed, amidst an ongoing political spate between himself, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
Former Defense Minister Fedorov, in an unpopular move, was recently pushed to resign by President Zelensky and many cited ongoing corruption and Fedorov’s unpopularity with Syrskyi as the reason for his dismissal, something that prompted Ukrainians to take to the streets in protest of the move.
However, as Zelensky looks to put Fedorov in a different role, Kyiv Independent has reported that despite Syrskyi on his way out, the two remain at an impasse, as Fedorov reportedly refuses to assume any other position other than his form one as defense minister.

🚨 President Donald Trump says Pickaxe Mountain is next.
“We’re going to take out Pickaxe Mountain. Tell the Iranians to be ready.”
Pickaxe Mountain is Iran’s deepest and most heavily fortified suspected nuclear facility, buried roughly 80-100 meters beneath granite near Natanz. It was built after the 2020 sabotage of the Natanz centrifuge complex as a hardened fallback site.
Neutralizing it would likely require multiple B-2 Spirit bombers dropping sequential GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators in coordinated waves, alongside electronic warfare, suppression of Iranian air defenses, real-time ISR, and repeated strikes on tunnel entrances, ventilation shafts, and supporting infrastructure.
Even then, military analysts assess the mountain may be too deep for conventional bunker-busters to fully destroy, making access denial and operational paralysis a more realistic objective than complete destruction.
