Zelenskyy accuses Russia of assisting Iran with satellite imagery of U.S. bases in Middle East
share.google/aimode/8PLvrQtM…
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has directly accused Russia of using its satellite network to spy on U.S. military facilities in the Gulf region and passing those images to Iran. [1, 2]
Key Details of the AccusationsCoordinated Intelligence: Zelenskyy stated there is a clear correlation between Russian satellite imaging and subsequent Iranian missile and drone strikes. The images are reportedly used by Iran for pre-strike targeting preparation and post-strike battle damage assessments. [1, 2]
Specific Bases Targeted: Ukrainian intelligence tracked intensive Russian satellite passes over four major air bases on July 19 and July 20 alone: Two facilities in Bahrain
One in Jordan (Muwaffaq Salti Air Base)
One in Kuwait [1, 3, 4]Pattern of Assistance: This builds on previous patterns flagged by Ukraine. In March, Zelenskyy noted that Russian satellites imaged the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia three separate times immediately before it was hit by an Iranian strike. [5, 6, 7, 8]
Sharing Evidence: Zelenskyy stated he has instructed Ukraine’s intelligence services to officially share their data and concrete evidence regarding this Russia-Iran intelligence loop with international partners, including the United States. [1, 2, 5]Wider Geopolitical Impact
U.S. Casualties: The claims come amid escalating regional violence. Roughly 18 U.S. service members have been killed and nearly 100 injured since the outbreak of hostilities involving Iran. [3, 9]
The “Quid Pro Quo”: While Iran has historically provided thousands of Shahed kamikaze drones to fuel Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Moscow appears to be reciprocating with electronic, signals, and satellite reconnaissance data to help Iran target Western assets. [9, 10]
Official Denials: The Kremlin has repeatedly dismissed reports of transferring satellite imagery and drone technology to Tehran, labeling the accusations as “fake news”. [9, 11]

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky will meet with Trump at the White House on Tuesday, — ABC News.
Yesterday Zelensky instructed Ukrainian intelligence agencies to pass on information to the US about Russia’s possible assistance to Iran in its standoff with the US.
However, the White House declined to comment on these statements or say whether the US administration had received the intelligence Zelensky publicly disclosed.

🇬🇧 British intelligence believes that NATO could face a direct challenge from Russia “within months” to test the Alliance’s strength, as the Russians believe that Trump is focused on Iran and there is a split in the Ukrainian leadership, — Daily Mail.
Russia will try to take advantage of a possible change in British resolve after the change of prime minister.
The source made it clear that one of the factors is also Putin’s dissatisfaction with the course of the war in Ukraine: “There is a feeling that if he [Putin] cannot somehow change the situation on the battlefield, the war will be lost.”

US military commanders are deliberately letting some Iranian missiles and drones through their air defenses to conserve dwindling interceptor stocks.
With Iran having fired nearly 9,000 projectiles since the war began, commanders now only engage threats headed for US troops — accepting hits on runways, radars, and fuel depots to preserve Patriots, THAADs, and SM-series interceptors that take years to replace.
