𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗵𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁
17-18 July 2026: Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces target the Wildberries logistics hub in Elektrostal, Moscow Oblast (see video), as part of a broader strike on the capital region using up to 370 drones.
A second Wildberries logistics center was targeted in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, which is also reported to be on fire.
Despite video evidence of the arrival of strike drones at the target location, Moscow’s mayor claims a single drone was shot down and the debris caused the fire.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin: “An attack by a drone flying towards Moscow has been repelled. Emergency services specialists are working at the site where the drone debris fell.”
Ukraine has ramped up long-range strikes on Russian energy, refineries, airfields, and now explicitly logistics hubs deeper in the rear.
Russia began targeting Nova Poshta facilities in Ukraine, similar to FedEx or UPS, as far back as 2023, claiming the delivery service was supporting the Ukrainian war effort.
In the abstract, that claim had some basis. Orders from AliExpress and other online retailers were routed through Nova Poshta, meaning a substantial volume of dual-use goods moved through those centers: fatigues, boots, winter clothing, radios, electronic components, sleeping bags, and camping equipment like portable stoves.
The same Kremlin logic applies to Wildberries, and it looks like Ukraine has taken the gloves off.
And, just as in Ukraine, the strikes will have economic and quality-of-life effects on daily Russian life.
